Rico spends the summer wandering Orchard Beach in the Bronx, selling homemade cocktails. But when his girlfriend, aptly named Destiny, tells him she’s pregnant and moves in with him (or rather, with his mother), Rico must face a host of unexpected responsibilities.
From the first minute until its sobering end, writer/director Joel Alfonso Vargas knows exactly what his debut film should be.
