synopsis

After moving to the big city, Laura misses her old home terribly. One evening, she sees a small star falling from the sky and later finds it with one broken point. Caring for it tenderly, she and the star embark on magical adventures that make Laura’s most imaginative dreams come true.

Regisseurin Joya Thome hat den weltweit bekannten Kinderbuchklassiker mit viel Liebe zum Detail und den Figuren als erste Realverfilmung auf die Leinwand gebracht. Mit viel Fantasie und Charme ist dieser liebevoll umgesetzte Film das perfekte Wohlfühl-Kinderkino. Dazu trägt auch Emilia Kowalski bei, die Laura als ein sympathisches, neugieriges und tapferes Mädchen spielt, das seinen eigenen Kopf hat und sich mit viel Liebe um den Stern kümmert, der beim Absturz vom Himmel auf der Erde gelandet ist.
