synopsis
Rebeca, une jeune fille rom, est menacée d’expulsion de son orphelinat. Espérant que la sortie de prison de son père lui offrira enfin une famille, elle découvre bientôt que grandir exige bien plus qu’elle ne l’imaginait.
Șerban draws on her own journey to explore identity, belonging, and the experience of being a minority. Through her work in theatre and film, she has spent the past 15 years creating space for Roma stories from a Roma perspective.
