synopsis
Several generations of women run a decaying hotel in northern Portugal, where long-simmering resentments and toxic mother-daughter relationships trap them in a cycle of bitterness and emotional conflict. When a granddaughter unexpectedly returns after her father’s death, buried tensions start to erupt.
