synopsis
Nasser Ali, an Iranian musician, loses his will to live after his beloved violin is destroyed, retreating into memories, regrets, and lost loves. Blending realism with poetic stylisation, the film explores how memory and longing can become places of both refuge and sorrow.
De ce destin somme toute amer naît un conte enchanteur, pittoresque, chatoyant, mariant satire et mélodrame, nostalgie et dérision. Ce "poulet aux prunes" est un régal.
