synopsis

October 2019, three months before Brexit. In Great Yarmouth, hundreds of Portuguese migrants arrive in search of a better life. Tânia, a former factory worker, runs an underground network recruiting and housing Portuguese workers. 

A stark yet deeply human portrait of Portuguese migration, caught between precarity, hope and the search for belonging
