synopsis
In working-class Paris of the 1840s, a mime, a flower seller, an actor, a philosophical murderer, and a heartbroken woman cross paths. Between the stage and the streets, they search for one another, yet none truly finds what they seek…
"Les Enfants du Paradis" est l’apogée de la collaboration Carné/Prévert, du cinéaste qui savait se mettre au service du texte, et du poète qui avait tout compris au cinéma. Rarement des dialogues ont autant acquis d’intensité visuelle.
