Since 2011, Filmreakter and the Luxembourg City Cinémathèque have joined forces to bring Cinélunatique to life – a series dedicated to cult classics, cinematic curiosities, and all things genre cinema.

Each edition is designed as a lively, participatory experience: themed screenings, double or triple features, quizzes, animations, and encounters between film enthusiasts all contribute to the playful and offbeat spirit of the project.

Blending homage and (re)discovery, Cinélunatique dives with humor, affection, and boldness into the world of unconventional cinema – celebrating the pure joy of watching films together, on the big screen, late into the night.
