On September 5, the Cinémathèque welcomed its audience for its final screenings in the historic theatre, during an unforgettable closing evening.
Throughout the night, the Crazy Cinématographe captivated audiences young and old alike: programs that were by turns funny, strange, bold, and always surprising — all accompanied live by Fränz Hausemer, the actor and showman, and pianists Hughes Maréchal and Philippe Marion, whose performances brought the theatre to life. Between emotion, laughter, and friendly moments shared over a drink, the audience responded with enthusiasm and a touch of nostalgia.
This final evening was a chance to say goodbye — but above all, see you soon: the Cinémathèque continues its journey in new venues, with the same enduring passion for cinema.
