Screening of the selected short films | in the presence of the filmmaking teams

Filmreakter drops by the Cinémathèque to present a horror-themed special edition of their popular LuxFilmFest event. Lost Weekend challenges all filmmakers, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, to create a short film – from conception to finished product – in only 48 hours. The Lost Weekend team provides a theme, a line of dialogue, a prop and a different horror genre for each participating team. The filmmakers then return with a programme of scary movies to screen for you at Halloween! The evening will also feature the premiere of the Lost Weekend Plus films from the 2026 edition, created by the laureates of the March LuxFilmFest edition as part of their prize.
