On sort de "Nouvelle Vague" le coeur léger. Et ce n’est pas le moindre mérite d’un film aussi attendu au tournant, lesté des poids considérables du mythe et de l’histoire, que d’aboutir à un sentiment aussi simple.
Positif
S’il ne désacralise pas la Nouvelle Vague, Richard Linklater évite le biopic ronflant et confortable en reliant le tournage chaotique d’À bout de souffle à sa propre vision du cinéma, faite d’accidents heureux, d’amusement, d’improvisation, et d’un génie qui doit quand même beaucoup au hasard.
