synopsis
Tintin, our fearless reporter, his loyal companion Snowy, and his inseparable friend Captain Haddock set off in search of a treasure buried with the wreck of a ship once commanded by one of Captain Haddock’s ancestors.
La virtuosité de sa mise en scène fonctionne presque pour elle-même sans que, paradoxalement, cela paraisse sec ou désincarné, tant la beauté est profondément investie par le cinéaste.
Cahiers du Cinéma
Clearly rejuvenated by his collaboration with producer Peter Jackson, and blessed with a smart script and the best craftsmanship money can buy, Spielberg has fashioned a whiz-bang thrill ride that's largely faithful to the wholesome spirit of his source but still appealing to younger, Tintin-challenged audiences.
